Annie Sloan Lacquer is a robust clear matte seal, particularly used for Annie Sloan Chalk applied to floors. Whether the paint is applied as wash or applied solidly with a roller, this lacquer will seal it perfectly. The lacquer coat will slightly darken the paint beneath it. Although a matte varnish there is a slight sheen to give it strength.
How To:
1. Before use, turn container upside down and shake well to make sure “the good stuff” that may have sunk to the bottom is well dispersed.
2. Apply with a sponge roller and a brush to cut in the edges.
3. Use two coats for areas of high traffic, it is better then trying to apply one thick coat
4. Leave overnight to “cure” before walking on it
5. Coverage = 10 sq meters/ liter per coat (approximately 100 sq ft)
